Day 1

Arrival in Oslo – Train to Åndalsnes

Welcome to Norway: After arriving in Oslo, board the scenic Raumabanen train to Åndalsnes. This journey is known for its picturesque views, winding through lush valleys and dramatic mountains. Upon arrival in Åndalsnes, check in at Hotel Aak, a cozy boutique hotel perfect for adventure seekers. Spend the rest of the day relaxing or exploring the charming town.

Hike to Rampestreken and Cable Car

Start your day with an invigorating hike up to Rampestreken, a popular viewpoint offering panoramic views over Åndalsnes and the surrounding fjords. The metal platform juts out from the cliffside, providing a thrilling perspective of the landscape below. For those looking for an easier ascent, you can take the Romsdalen Gondola for a scenic ride to the top. In the afternoon, explore more of Åndalsnes or relax at Hotel Aak.

Day 3

E-bike to Valldal via Trollstigen

Embark on a breathtaking e-bike tour to Valldal, passing one of Norway’s most iconic routes, Trollstigen. This winding mountain road offers hairpin turns and spectacular viewpoints. Starting in Åndalsnes, hop on an e-bike for a ride you’ll never forget. Pedaling up the legendary Trollstigen with its thrilling switchbacks, you’ll be treated to epic views of waterfalls and jagged peaks—all made easier with the electric boost. After soaking in the panoramic vistas, cruise down into Valldal, passing through lush valleys and quaint villages. Finish off with a taste of Valldal’s famous strawberries, savoring the perfect end to an epic leg of your journey through Norway’s dramatic landscapes.

Kayaking in the Valldal Fjord

Today, embark on a tranquil kayak tour in Valldal. Paddle through the calm waters of the fjord, surrounded by towering mountains and lush greenery. The Valldal Fjord offers a peaceful environment where you can enjoy the beauty of the landscape from a unique perspective. After a relaxing morning on the water, spend the afternoon exploring Valldal’s strawberry fields, known for producing some of Norway’s best berries, or simply unwind at your hotel.

Depart Valldal and make your way toward the historic Hotel Union Øye. Along the way, stop for a scenic hike in the Sunnmøre Alps, known for their sharp peaks and dramatic views. Popular hikes in the area include Saksa or Skårasalen, both offering stunning panoramas of the fjords and mountains. After your hike, arrive at the grand Hotel Union Øye, a charming and historic hotel nestled at the foot of the mountains. This hotel has hosted royalty and adventurers alike, providing a luxurious setting for the night.

Hike in Hjørundfjorden & Trandal Swing

Spend the day exploring the beauty of Hjørundfjorden, one of Norway’s most spectacular and lesser-known fjords. Begin with a hike in the surrounding mountains, offering unparalleled views of the fjord and its idyllic villages. Afterward, visit the famous Trandal Swing, a unique swing that dangles from a cliff, giving the feeling of soaring above the fjord. Capture incredible photos and savor the thrill of this one-of-a-kind experience. Return to Hotel Union Øye for a relaxing evening in this historic hideaway.

Day 7

Transport to Vigra or Hovden – Return to Oslo

After a final breakfast at Hotel Union Øye, it's time to begin your journey back to Oslo. You’ll be transported to either Vigra Airport (near Ålesund) or Hovden Airport (near Ørsta), depending on your travel preferences. From there, you can catch a flight back to Oslo, or if you prefer, drive back through more of Norway’s scenic countryside, taking in the last of the stunning fjords and mountain views.
